not perching in coop

My 5 month old girls go in the coop every night, but all pile up and sleep by the door. They used to sleep in the nesting boxes, but now they don't even do that. Does it matter if they want to sleep on the floor?

It's not really hygienic... I go out to mine every night, and chuck them all up on the roosts.. Although the reason mine dont roost is cause the big girls keep kicking the young girls onto the floor, and I have to sneak them onto the roosts when its dark
