thanks for all the replies, i sort of get an idea of how to do it, and of course i don't charge my dad for any thing!!!....so yeah it would be a gift but hey wants to pay shipping.

Smaller amounts can be shipped in flat rate boxes, so weight wouldn't be a factor. For something the size of a turkey, it will be pricey.

Watch the shipping on game meats. In some states it has to have a certificate issued to be legal and there may be limits. In Wyoming you may only ship 25 lbs per animal out of state to someone. You can ship the whole thing to your self with the tag attached...
