Not roosting

Just went in to check on my birds and my big roo was not roosting. He was laying on the floor, head tucked under his wing. None of the other birds were roosting either, but they were busy scratching around.

Is it normal for them to sleep on the ground? Should I be worried??

It should be natural for them to roost. How old are they? Have they roosted before?

They roost all the time. I've not seen him do this before. Of course I've only had them less than 2 weeks. It's kind of early in the evening for him to be sleeping though. Usually they are still wondering around.

Maybe they are just not ready to be "tucked in" for the night. Go check again in a little while, maybe they will all be up on the roost then.
