Wouldn't you know....
It isn't quite dark yet but I went out to check. Three are on the edge of the poop board and the rest wedged themselves above the nesting boxes where it sticks into the coop (boxes themselves are in the storage area). It doesn't stick out much from the wall--maybe 2-3"--so I'm surprised they were able to fit up there. I hadn't put anything there to dissuade them because I assumed they wouldn't have enough space to roost!
I moved them to the lower roost which is a similar height.
