Not so aggressive rooster breed(s)?

I have a Cochin roo that is so sweet and friendly. I just got rid of a nasty aggressive Ameracauna Roo. They were both handled as young chicks, but the Cochin was always more friendly and calm than the Ameracauna was. I read that Cochins roosters are generally gentle giants.

Mine was absolutely awful. dh thought he was great so it took longer to cull...until Loudmouth attacked his favorite daughter (only daughter) then out came the hatchet. Gone. What a relief.
