Not Spraddle - Help?

I have a new chick that is favoring one leg...waddles when it walks and holds it up towards its body. It looks like it's trying but I want to make sure there is nothing to be concerned about?

did you check that the tendon had not slipped? if it has then the chick can't straighten it's leg and it will sit on the hock joint. this can cause permanent damage. i just lost one last week due to both tendons being slipped and the bone twisting. http://www.peafowl.org/ARTICLES/1/ if it is slipped this will tell you how to fix it.

It seems like it is achilles tendon out of the groove...but there are no pics and I don't understand by reading that what to do...

Does it mean to pinch the swollen part of the tendon to help it slip back into place?
