Not such a good day here. My dear sweet dog passed away.

This morning my 15 year old dog passed away.
She went quietly in her sleep. It was 7:45. Her breathing got very quiet and then stopped all together.
She had a wonderful full life. She chased many a rabbit and many a ball in her prime.
I knew it was her time and had planned to call the vet on Monday.
I am going to miss her very much and the way she insisted on checking on the hens every night.

She was very much loved and will be sorely missed.

Sorry for your loss, but take comfort that she had a wonderful life and it sounds as if she went very peacefully and painlessly. We should all hope for as much.
