I can see that. The first bird seems broader than a Phoenix, but I was leaning more towards a cross with one of the components being a Phoenix. Whichever he is, he's a healthy-looking boy.

He is a beautiful guy! Even if he was part game, many find them to be very gentle birds to everything EXCEPT other roos.

If he's nice, you can go ahead and pick him right up! I don't hesitate to try and nab up by 10lb beast of a roo, and he's wearing two 3 inch spurs that sometimes he trips on when walking on beams.

Looks so much like my game rooster Frank. Same color and feathers. Frank was a great rooster and very gentle around us. He really took care of the hens and babies. You have a nice boy there.
