I quarantined them from everyone and had to bring my first few sick ones inside because it was so cold, I cleaned out their mouths daily, I did not have a whole lot of dry pox cases (only 3 cases), they ended up getting better, it was actually simpler than I thought it would be. You do have to watch them closely, one of my frizzle hens got it in her throat, we had to actually tickle her throat with a cutip for a pea sized ball of wet pox to come out!I'm glad that things are on the mend for you and your flock. How did you treat them in the end? I have never had to treat pox in my flock and I hope I never will, but it would be interesting for anyone else looking for information about it on here to know what you treated your birds with, and for how long, as it seems to have worked pretty well for you.
