I just checked her throat and it was clear from obstruction.

Is the low and the louder noise coming from the same hen?

It does not sound normal at all.

To me it sounds like a real struggle to breathe past an obstruction.

Does sound like obstruction on both inhale and exhale.

could be gapeworm.

Gape worm is pretty rare.

Was she eating something large/hard prior to the sounds happening?
