No, it isn't a cause for health concerns. Chickens can cross breed with other chickens just fine, they are all the same species. Just that if you planned to sell any of their chicks, they wouldn't be purebred Dominiques.Thank you I sold 7 Roos yesterday and was hoping I kept hens. The 2 others are my babies so had to keep them. Being pure isn't important to me unless it will cause health issues etc. They are just pets.
