Okay, now that the chicks are 7 weeks old, I'm hoping someone can help me make decisions about the cockerels. I need to rehome the boys (and I think they are most of them). Here goes:

Tikka- 7 weeks today. Very Big Chick. I've noticed a "darker red" coming in on the back and now I see a few spots in the wings. The tail has really pretty black feathers laced with brown, but the black portion has the beetle green sheen. I think it's a cockerel

Here is Smudge: 7 weeks, the coloring keeps making me think pullet, but now there are red wattles peaking through. NOOO! ETA: I "think" the mother was the black sex link hen. Would that affect or contribute to faster growing comb/wattles even on a pullet?

I think I'm deluding myself into thinking there's any way this baby could be a pullet. The comb really still looks single, but it's usually really pink. Not 100% of the time, but 95% of the time it's really pink. He's soooo pretty.

These two I feel certain are cockerels. The blue one with barring peaking through has to be a male based upon genetics. The other one has shown 3 beefy rows of peas for a while now.

This is the only chick that I still 100% think is a pullet:

I have someone willing to take the boys but they will probably be processed at 14 weeks. I can't keep them, but I know she will take great care of them for the next 7 weeks. Just need to put the "COCKEREL" stamp on the suspects.

Would you please help sort our boys from our girls? We have 3 Black Copper Marans, 2 Splash Ameraucanas, 1 Blue Ameraucana, and 2 Golden Laced Bantam Wyandottes.

We are thinking that the BCM 3 is female, as her comb and wattle are much smaller and less red than those of the BCM 1 and BCM 2. Also, we were told that the two GLBWs are both female. The Ameraucanas we have no idea about.

Thank you!

Thank you!!!
How old are they? Also your pics don't enlarge, so details are hard to see.

This was supposed to be a golden sex link pullet, looking more and more like a rooster but still not crowing at 12 weeks.
