Here's a question. I have bantam roosters And I had them out foraging with the big girls yesterday. They were in seperate areas of the yard for the most part than both of my little boys ran over and attacked three of my "hens " totally ignoring the other 7 girls. In fact those 7 sat down. The others postured up. I am assuming those 3 are roosters. The bantams are older by a week or so. The big girls are 6 weeks old.

This is my 13 week old production red. I was pretty sure she was a hen but then this long tail feather sprouted up. Is this in fact a rooster?

Sorry definitely looks like a roo. I was hoping the water was just making the feathers stick together but I can for sure see saddle feathers..
