I'm gonna say mixed breed roos. Lighter one could possibly be a sex-link, but doesn't look quite right, idk why.

Was in Kauai HI last year and learned anout the hurricane that went over the island and smashed up all the coops and released all the chickens (pigs also). These look like the truly free range there. Beautiful mutts and mutts often have the best even temperment.

Here are some better pictures. Sorry it took so long it wasn't very easy catching him. Unfortunately the other one is no where to be seen

and it was a hen, we saw it lay and egg. The egg was large and white. We think this roo might be a Swedish Flower. What do you think? he is beautiful and has a great personality. We are lucky to have found him.

I think Swedish Flower chickens are very rare and unlikely to be roaming free in a park. I'm still thinking mixed breed roo.

very pretty rooster, looks like a mixed breed to me. As far as the white one being a hen... are you sure you saw it lay an egg? Nothing about that bird says hen to me, all signs point to a roo. If it shows up again try to take a close up picture, but from far away it appears to have very long pointed cream colored hackle feathers, as well as some pointed saddle feathers.
