I got these two little guys(or gals) from my kid's school. They had a science experiment hatching eggs in which all the eggs were donated. The teacher didn't know the breed but they are cute. Anyone that recognizes these little guys and knows what they are would be very appreciative.

lots of breeds look like that as chicks, you'll have to wait a few weeks for breed and gender guesses

Well the babies have grown up and this is what they look like. Anyone recognize the breed? They're the two closest ones.

Wow, I would've never guessed that one... Thank you very much!!
Now I'll have to Do my research on them. Now I know I have two roosters. The other one is in that same pic towards the back right. He's a Rhode Island Red. One of them, not sure which, started crowing just a couple of mornings ago. I'm guessing the Barnvelder did because he's a bit bigger than the RIR and seems like he's maturing a little quicker.
