Oh dang...really... Today is day 21 and since day 19 they have been at 75% because someone suggested that my humidity was too low...
Should I take the sponge and water out??
No just leave it now. Good luck on your hatch
thank you....The more experience you get under your belt, you can tweak your incubator to your environment. They all have their quirks. I live in a humid climate so I run mostly dry checking the air cells days 7,14 and 18. If they are growing a bit too fast then I will add some water. This is rare. I have 3 incubators on the go right now. I have a brinsea, a diy coolerbator and hubby just built me a cabinet. Its going to be nuts around here. I forgot i have a turkey that just went broody. Hoping you will have pippers before long.
Great info for me. Today begins my lockdown. Didn't candle on lockdown. Humidity was always 38-41% until day 18.(today) just placed a sponge. Will monitor the humidity now for the next 1\2 hour.
On lock down, do I stop the fans and make it still air?
