Not sure what happened here. Five fully developed but didn’t hatch. Could it have been moving them off the turning racks then laying flat?

A lovely response from all of you - thank you all so much! My first thought was to try again right away but am going to wait a few days so it's not an emotional decision. From what I've been reading I think the temp. went too high because the room that the incubator was in was a sunroom and often it would get too hot or too cool. Next time I will put it in a different place. I paddled the whole bucket of remains to the tip of a local island and offered them up to the scavengers, as least something will benefit from my mistake :(

We all make mistakes (although I'm not sure you did) and learning from them, is what is important.
I know I meddled too much the first time I had a broody. Only 2 of 10 hatched. I've discovered that the biggest obstacle, to my own successful hatches, is my tendency to micromanage.
Good luck with your future hatchlings!
