Wondering if anyone has any thoughts. When I went out to the coop an hour ago, one of my hens was sitting off by herself and was not interested in the treat of veggies and fruit I had brought out. She walked over and looked at it and then went and took a drink of water. I have separated her from the other girls, she is in the house now in her own space with water and food. Her vent looks fine, her tummy is not hard and her crop doesn’t seem full. Her eyes are bright but she does have her beak open a bit from time to time. Her comb, wattles and legs all look normal. She is just very docile and doesn’t seem to care that I am poking and prodding her. She is is a polestar leghorn and will be one year old in June. They all eat a layer feed from small pet select and the other 5 girls are acting like they always do. Thanks in advance for any insights.

Has she laid an egg recently? Can you get pictures of her poop, and post them? (No, we don't think it's gross.)
She unfortunately passed not long after I posted. 😞 She had pooped when I first brought her in and it looked normal, no diarrhea or weird colors. It’s a mystery, will be talking to my vet on Monday. Thank you

Make sure your not in the flight path of migrating birds carrying the avian influenza.
Yes, I have been monitoring that and the hens are under cover and have not been free ranging. No one has been here with them and we are careful about clothing , shoes and equipment in the run and coop. She also had zero of those symptoms and her sisters are all fine. Looking back over the last couple of days and the number of eggs collected it could be that she became bound up. My neighbor who has chickens thinks that is a strong possibility. 😞
