not sure what to put as the thread

we purchaded 11 hens a while back from a private person, they have all been great except one recently will not get off the nest even if there are no eggs... not sure what to do with her at this point... she doesn't seem to be laying either... any feedback?

Sounds like she is broody.

Sounds as if she has gone broody. They don't need eggs to go broody.
