Not sure where to put this: Looking for duck eggs...to eat.

It actually is slightly offensive.

Why would that offend anyone? I eat all of our eggs, ducks, goose, chickens, and when we had them pheasant eggs. I only have two duck hens. And the one doesn't lay that well. Or I would totally offer them to you as eating eggs. My DDs like the duck and goose eggs better than the chicken eggs.

yep, we mix them for scrambled. and the flavor is great!

Lots of people eat fertile eggs . As long as they havent been sat on and begun growing they are just as good as unfertile eggs . You can hatch all the eggs . Why waste them

I was not going to comment, but I accidentally hit the remark button..

there is nothing offensive in eating any kind of egg fertile or not.

In fact I am toying with the idea of going heavier with the duck eggs for selling for eating and cutting back on the chickens..

They make the best egg sandwiches!!!!
If you like them and there's no local BYC member, try a WTB on your local Craig's list, Farm and Garden section.

Metzger farms will ship you duck eggs for the table. They will ship you balut too if you want to try those. I do not find eating balut offensive just depends on if you have a taste for them. But then I eat snails and snakes too.

Disclaimer actually have never ate balut, but have snake, snails, and turtles.

I am not quite ready to try balut....not yet.

though I will admit I have toyed with the idea. I eat fertile eggs all the time. all my chicken eggs are fertile.

I only have a problem, with it now and then when I start getting the hatching bug!!!! LOL
