Not sure which route to go, advice please

may attempt bumblefoot surgery in a little bit, have any of you tried using liquid bandage on the foot of a chicken or duck before? Right now I have it bandaged up and have a little infant mitten (the ones used to stop them from scratching their faces) on it. But I was wondering how the liquid bandage works and if I would have to peel it off if I needed to get back in there to get more puss out or would it wear away? Would I be better just using gauze bandages and tape it the way I have it now to let it weep?

Soak it in very warm epson salt water. 3 times a day. Trust me, they love it!

Thank you, I do that also but can only do it once a day, I was able to scrap off a bit of a scab and put some gauze with a sugar/Iodine mixture on it and wrap with the booty, but she got the booty off silly girl, so it is just wrapped with the gauze and vet tape and waterproof tape for now.
