Not taking sides, but....

You have to or else your birds will die. You can say you don't have to keep quail in a cage, but they ain't gonna last long. You are taking a side by saying you don't have to, and that you are tired of it, you are pretty much shooting yourself in the foot there as JJ worded differently. By complaining about someone else you are taking a side.

A "RANT" is sometimes good for the soul!
It's not necessarily "PRETTY", but can take a burden off the ranter's chest.

Is my way of raising birds the total right way? No, but it works fine for me. Can you raise X species of quail on cracked corn, meal worms, and belly button lint, at 12deg. F., on a wire floor pen?
Well, I wouldn't, but I just don't know. Maybe...just maybe it could work.

I'm a "network standard" kind of person. Tossing 50 variables into any situation; to save time/money/what ever, is generally rejected. I tend to go with what works for me, and it's pretty "Network standard".

WOW, will guess nobody would have to keep buttons inside.....but they sure would here in Ohio unless they want frozen birds...no not in the house , inside as out of the outside elements.

Giving good advise, is not like telling someone they have to do it that way.....but what works best in most cases.

Tell me about it :rolleyes I always take advice seriously, even stuff that might sound a little doubtful. Better to be safe than sorry, I think. If you don't want to be told what to do then don't ask. What did you want?
"And if you feel like it, you might put them inside as they could freeze. However if they don't please blame us as we told you what to do...?!"
