okay. I'll keep an eye on her. right now she looks very blue with a tiny tent of dark gray. I do have a splash olive egger (black copper maran and splash Ameraucana) the same age and the "splash" is VERY noticeable. She looks identical to a splash Ameraucana except with light feathering on her feet. Should a blue Orpington be showing the splash just as soon or is it more obvious in the olive egg at this age? (they are almost 8 weeks old)They should breed true. If the other one is an Orpington it looks like a blue with a bit of splashing in its feathers.
