I just walked into the coop at 6:45-ish and went to check on the turken pullets and immediately noticed this!!!
In the 2nd pic I had her on the ground, she was not already on the ground. I found her roosting with everyone else blissfully until I saw the wound and freaked out. I called up my dad who is a nurse and he said it should be fine. Should I do anything? Ive seen birds recover from all sorts of horrific things but im kinda worried not gonna lie..
Any ideas of what to do? I immediately moved her to a cage with water and feed and she then started roosting then sleeping. She shows no discomfort or anything about the injury, although just stands still when I place her on the ground which is obvious why
