We just got 2 new birds about a week ago and about 7 chicks from someone else about 2 weeks ago, and now one of my laying hens has came down with something where her left eye is swollen and is really watery and couldn't get past it but I had to cull her and two of our laying brown keghorns are wheezing but don't have the watery eye thing, and I had to cull two of the chicks because they looked like they were getting the eye thing, This makes me very mad because I do everything that I can to keep my birds clean and healthy, and the messed up thing about it is ALL of my birds have grown up on ACV and two time I got lazy and didn't put any in there water
