Not your average prolapse

She's a 1 yr old bantam cross. Has anyone seen this? It is hanging from her vent. I've put it back in but it eventually slips out. She's isolated. Spunky. Laying. I just can't figure out what this is? A teste? A growth?

lol, I thought 'a teste' too even though surely it can't be. I don't know what it is, sorry, but it's definitely not your average prolapse. :/ Hope someone who knows what that is can help. I don't know if it's possible for them to prolapse their own ovaries. Could be a cancerous growth or tumor, I don't know.

In this picture you can see just barely see one.


My best guess is that it's some type of scare tissue or cancer.

Thanks for your input. I agree it was probably a tumor/mass of some sort. Though it didn't seem to bother her, t couldn't put her back in with the flock because they'd peck her - so I put her down this morning.
She was a good lass, good layer and fearless (ask the fox who tried to carry her off).
