Not your traditional coop...for sure!

Here's a better pic from the front showing the drain tile. The tile is 10" diameter. Another cool thing about the drain tile is that I can remove it easily and close up the hole with a tile cap.

Wildsky...I am planning on leaving the nest boxes out until my hens are ready to lay. I say 8 nest boxes, but it's banty size nest boxes....so actually,it's just 4 standard size nest boxes with dividers.

I had thought about closing it in underneath the nesting coop, but that will make it more difficult to move it around. I'm building a removeable run that will attach to the nesting coop and also serve as a tractor for daytime use. I'll post more pics as I get this done. It may take a while...it's kinda hard being a "carpenter" while I'm chasing my 3 year old son around! Thanks for everyones nice comments and advice. I appreciate you all.

Very cute! Our coop and run are not quite finished, there is painting to be done and a little trim work, but it is workable and livable. But now we have decided there are changes we would like to make so we have put those details on hold.
Ours is a design in progress like yours, the Delightful Dozen are showing us the things to work out! LOL
