'nother newbie!

Hello, all. I'm a transplanted Californian living in rural Alabama. I'm new to raising chicks and my chicks are having to learn how to 'do it' themselves since I've had them since they were three days old. Have three hens and a rooster, and one of them just started laying last Friday...such a tiny, perfect, adorable little egg. Maybe I'll have it bronzed

I need to peruse the board now.
