Nothing after 23 days

no, it should be running around by now. check its feet to see if the toes are curled or the legs to see of they are too far apart. my computer is freezing

shoot. okay.. it is falling into everything trying to walk but basically moving by flapping its wings

it is fixable, just a pain in the tush. can you post pictures? i dont know that i would want to pip anymore. thats a hard call. they may or may not be like that if they are even alive.

yeah i dont think it will be a good idea to pip anymore because it sounds like they all have humidity issues and will come out with some sort of defect. i will post pics right now

my girlfriends going to have to send me the picture because she has them on her phone then i will post them. but when i saw it yesterday now that im thinking of it i believe it is missing a toe or the toe was curled all the way under the foot and i couldnt see it

you can look up splay or spraddle legs on here and also curled toes. you make either shoes or braces for them and the quicker the better because it will heal fast there are a lot of different methods for a fix. personally i like to use vet wrap.

Hopefully it ends up okay otherwise i will give it to my physiology professor who has many of these on his farm. I will look spraddle legs up

curled toes are hard for big hands but it is an easy fix. pipe cleaner in the shape of a correct foot, some just cut a small piece of cardboard, use the vet wrap to put them in position and presto, new shoes. keep them on for a couple days and check may have to redo it a couple times. you know it will be lonely though. they are flock animals

thats what i was thinking.. they need company.. and another 3-4 weeks to hatch some more will be too long so it may be a good idea to pass this little one along where i also know it will be in great hands. i would definitely do this again asap but with a different incubator and not a junky rental.
