Fortunately my neighbours are on holiday, unfortunately the daft bird now has an appointment with a pair of scissors. I woke up at 5.30 horrible on my Sunday off (I work every other weekend so like my Sunday sleep in. Let the girls out of both coops and went to doze, was doing fine until the girls started to make quite a nose. I thought that cat had taken a short cut but as soon as I got down everyone calmed down except I could hear one distressed adolescent bird calling FOM THE NEIGHBOURS GARDEN only the one with the dog!! Fortunately their side gate was unlocked so I grabbed the bird with no trouble, I think she scared herself so time to clip her wing feathers, I know Cloe is an pup by nature but if she saw a nice juicy hen snack the hunter in her may come out! I am now a bit more relaxed all the girls have had a bowl of Weetabix in yoghurt and everyone is all relaxed, the escapee got a severe pecking from Scrappy doo and I wish I had got a picture I am just glad no one saw me running round next door in just an old disney night shirt and no shoes disappearing then walking back with a very scared hen she was trembling up in my arms on the way home but settled with a beak of yoghurt covered Weetabix.
