Thanks everybody for the warm wishes! My DH is quite smitten lol

I read him all the nice things and he liked them all, but the most true and the one that got a sort of "snort/chuckle" outta him was the "Now just think he owes his JOB to the chickens!"

I think he appreciates them just a little more now! lol

Yes, 4H Mom, I'm thrilled for you guys. Of course you know what this means right??? Now you have to get more chickens...it's state law! Good job = more chickens! That or you have to pay a fine.

We might just be getting a few more, as we have done away with the pen and are just letting them all free range our 3/4 acre yard.

We found out that our cat makes a lovely hawk watcher! Guard CAT on duty!

What a great story! Makes me happy for you guys. My brother worked for Schneider for a couple of months but he has a cat and they wouldn't let him take her in the truck so he quit and went with CFI. Schneider also won't let you idle your truck so you have no heat and no air! I'm so glad it all worked out good for you.

silkiechick....yea the idle thing...my DH told me that! Thats STUPID! What are you supposed to do in the heat of summer? Drown in your own sweat?
