Nova Scotia looking for heritage breeds esp Chanticlers

I'm looking for happy, healthy, friendly breeds for a small free-range flock on an old farm. Will be asked to help with gardening chores

Must be able to travel to Nova Scotia.

I think getting them across the border is a huge hassle, but I'm not sure. It's a hassle to get seeds across the border! Probably my best bet is to get Canadian birds...

Can't wait for the little beasties!
