Oh, Cool!He is tiny because it was from a pullet egg that weighed only 1.6 oz. That pullet had just started laying!
I sure hope Little Peeper comes out OK. His twin egg is due to begin the process tonight. I'm hoping for a quick hatch so that the new peeper can encourage this poor little guy. Thank you for the support and hope.@Antiquity . I had a chick like this too, she rested like that for a day until the another chick hatched then she was up and dragging the shell around for another eight hours. She's just fine now! The thick red cord is the umbilical most likely. Your doing good, hang in there!
If it were me... >_> I'd do it. But then I'm reckless like that.I'm guessing that moving an incubator 30 minutes in a car under lockdown would be a bad idea???? I'm off tomorrow (incubator is at clinic) and no external pip yet. Trying to decide if I should bring everything home with me. I could wrap it in towels...
Super Cute! So glad you had a good hatch.
Do you have (or can you get) a cig-lighter plug adapter to plug it into for the drive?I'm guessing that moving an incubator 30 minutes in a car under lockdown would be a bad idea????
