novice chicken farmer

Im new at this farming chickens, In the past 3 months i adopted, 30 hens and 3 roosters. I actually saved them all from starving to death. I am getting about 15 eggs a day. I would love to sell my fresh farm eggs. Any suggestions for this novice chicken farmer???

I have wanted to sell eggs but my dad won't let me.
In Ok you must have a license to sell eggs. 'If some one got sick and they traced it back to us they would prob take us to court and take all we have' dad says. I would sell them to people you know well to people you work with. Or people like that. Good Luck!!!

Welcome to BYC. Laws regarding the sale of eggs varies from state to state. Try posting in the Utah thread located in the Social forum - 'Where am I? Where are you!' section.

You might want to try a farmers Market if you have one nearby

Or maybe put a sign out front if that is legal where you live
