Ok - there seems to be a general consensus that it would be best to add one (1) drake and three (3) hens to the flock, for a total of five (5) ducks.

Geese and ducks should be separated at night.

Final question: Should another goose be added to the mix - two (2) geese and one (1) gander total?

From what I’ve read adult geese are a bit like dogs in that they don’t always accept newcomers into the family readily.

All of you are absolutely right. Luke and Leia remain the only geese and get their own space at night. Adding a drake and 3 hens to the big pen with Allie and hopefully the drake will be somewhat of a buffer between Luke and the hens. I've never really had a problem with them in the daytime- they free range together and the geese don't care about swimming in the pond.
