Novice peafowl owner looking for advice

Hello. We discovered a chick in our backyard in early September and thought it was a turkey at first. Turns out it was a baby peafowl. Can anyone on this forum tell us if it’s a male or female and what type of peafowl we have. We are also looking for suggestions to expand its diet. Currently we are feeding mealworms and it has access to our garden area with other bugs etc.

I think peacocks eat game bird feed.

A low to mid-range Spaulding cock, unless it lays an egg in 2022. This one was not easy, I thought hen at first because of the green neck and no shield color but the verticle line on the black chest feathers and the static on the wings say cock.
