Novice Rooster Fighting Question

When I first BYC I thought all you guys were nuts talking about your chickens. Now that I have some I must admit they are really funny to watch.
You guys have infected me...

now I am as nuts as y'all.

I think it it because they are so much like ourselves that fascinates us so.

I have two roos who grew up together. They were doing great until about a week ago. The slightly older roo was alpha and the young dude was cooperative until he realized that he's quite a bit larger than alpha-man. Now they try to kill each other any time they're together. They're taking turns being separated until this weekend when we erect another run.

My Andalusian roo and my Silkie roo came in the same hatchery shipment. They hit puberty and started to fight. The big one always got the worst of it. He would jump on the Silkie who managed on several occassions to cut holes into the Andalusian's breast and under his wings. Blood was everywhere! We tried all sorts of things to keep them apart - not especially practical in our coop. Anyway, after a few months of fighting, they reached some sort of agreement. Their "fighting" has become more ceremonial than actual.
I am still not sure who is the Alpha...
