I have 2, 7 week old novogen browns out of a pullet bin. They look so different. Does anyone know anything about this breed? All I know is they are a cross between RR and white leghorn...I think.
Do I have a pullet and cockerel? The solid one has no tail feathers...🤔
They are such sweet chicks!

They both look like pullets to me. With that type of sexlink hybrid, the females are brown, but they can have widely different amounts of white (the males reliably have even less brown than that, and what brown they do have is distributed differently.)

Im definitely thinking they are pullets. I just dont know how likely it is to get a roo in a pullet bin.

Depending on the store, and the breeds involved--fairly likely. (Chicks just end up in the wrong bin somehow. Some stores are worse than others.)

But YOURS are pullets. Because they're sexlinks, their color tells what gender they are: female.

Yay!! Thank you do much! Now the only ones left that have me stumped are my 2 barred rocks and 2 lavender orpingtons.
