I posted my supposed Speckled Sussex a week ago. I was told that they probably are NH Reds or Production Reds. Any better guess on gender now?
The first one has a yellow stripe down her/his chest. The other is darker.

Probably all pullets. However, I don't trust the accuracy of the color I see on internet photos. Each computer will deliver its own interpretation.

You are in a better position to know what you're seeing. Look for comb color changes from yellow to yellow orange, then to a red-orange, and by age six or seven weeks, the combs on cockerels will be a definite red color.

Pullets' combs remain a very pale hue until they approach point of lay.

Thank you!

They look like pullets for now. Post pics in 3-4 weeks again. I agree they may be either NHR or PR. I got one PR back in May, she started laying a week ago. She looked exactly like your lighter looking one when she was that young.
