Now considering bantams , HELP, I don't have a clue about them.

I need to stop reading these posts, now I want to get some banties!

I got that notice from Ideal too, sounds good but I don't know much about Ideal vs. getting froma breeder.
 
Can't say enough about how much we love our bantam cochins. This is a pic of our 11 week old blue pullet. She doesn't look as fluffy as usual because she has polysporin on her neck from having all the skin on one side of her neck ripped off by some predator. I can't believe she survived but is doing great and about 1/2 of the skin has grown back. I'm posting so you can see her size. She is considered full grown at 14 weeks.

I am really enjoying my new banties as well. I think they are from Ideal-I got it from a feed store that gets them from there. THey are soo tiny and sweet so far. I am wondering about eggs too but I mainly got them to be companions and so my little girls can love on them easily.
 
Cool, I finally sat my hubby down and told him I needed help deciding even though the chickens are going to be more my thing than his. He was very helpful and we decided on seven different breeds including two bantams. I think I have the ones we chose in my sig line.
