now day 17 quail, i think we are done update we have 10 chicks

When the turning is done i would take them out of the carton......

Also i'm not sure what type of incubator you have but when we had out old one (it was the small styrofoam kind) the always hatched out on day 16.... with the one i have now (it is a big cabinet type), if i put them in the bottom trays they hatch out at 18 days and 16 days in the top trays... I do see them rocking somtimes about a day before they hatch and have had them piped for up to 24 hours before fully hatching out.... I hope this helps.

ok i just opened it up and took some out of the carton and left some in the carton. yes they are rocking. i don't know if moving them around woke them up or what. any way going on day 16 and they are in my lg i am using as a hatcher. they spent the first days in my new hovebator. so i may see something soon?
