Thanks Flock Mistress! It does help... minimizes the stress!! HA!
My big concern was keeping chickens which became immune.
Alot of other sites say the chickens are carriers and I did not know what that meant.
I can see maybe a mosquito biting and restarting all over.. but I was hoping not just being exposed to other chickens would cause the outbreak!
Gonna ride it out for now and find what I need to vaccinate my chicks in the nursery area.

Unless pox is problematic in your area you don't need to vaccinate at all. Very few backyard poultry keepers bother to vaccinate for pox. And the ones that do have had experiences with wet pox, which is much more dangerous than dry pox. Either way, the decision is up to you.
