Now that hens are laying - use up flock raiser feed or toss it?

I started getting eggs from twenty one week old hens this week. I have about 30 lbs of the flock raiser feed left. Can I use it up before switching to the layer feed? Should I mix the old with the new and use it up, or just toss it? Also, is there any risk in eating the eggs from the flock raiser feed?
Thanks for the replies!

Don't toss it! As long as they have oyster shell (free choice), no reason not to use it up first. I don't typically mix feeds when I'm switching, and have never had a problem.

I use Flock Raiser with my girls without a problem as long they got calcuim shells to use for their egg production.

I usually buy one Layena and one Flock Raiser combo and it works well!

TOSS IT... over here!
