I got 3 roos, a silkie, an Easter Egger and a brahma. The brahma is just like one of the hens, he doesn't even crow! now the silkie and the Easter egger are different, they both crow (don't tell the EE, but the silkie can crow better

) they never have gotten into a fight that is till this morning. I've never seen a cock fight! but they where really going at it. well I was scared for my little silkie, that EE is huge compared to him, so I went out there and split them up. Would they of eventually stopped, or was it going to be a fight to the death??

Just had to share my so far interesting day.

Although fights can go to the point of serious injury and death to one or both of the roosters, it is rare. The fights are just "boys being boys" most times. There may be some minor injuries, but nothing life-threatening as a rule. That being said- I'd keep an eye on the boys for a while to make sure neither one gets too badly hurt especially if there is a big size disparity between the roos in question. Good luck!
