It looks fantastic!! One thing I can add to the other suggestions is .... more ventilation. That little grate won't do it...

But it is a job well done!! I'm sure your wife appreciates the work!!

I have a big opening in the back, that is right at the peak, coming down probably a foot or more covered with hardware cloth. And the hole this door covers is gonna be covered by super heavy 2x4 welded wire and hardware cloth, and left open during the day in the summer, that should give them plenty of air.
