There are many great responses here to helping you build a bond with your little ones. We started clicker training with ours when they were young, and it really helped out with them being sociable. The duckling we raised in the past without as much interaction and socialization like this came out much more shy. Start off by getting yourself a clicker, and click it at the same time you put their food out for them - associate the two together. You may eventually work towards having them come when called - "Hey duck!" - as soon as they run to you, click and treat. Give them a favorite snack.
