So, my inlaws found ducklings today, Apparently, the mother duck was killed and these guys were orphaned. So anyway, hey brought them over to us, and I have NO IDEA how to care for ducks. Any help is appreciated

If they are wild ducks, I 'd call animal control and ask them about local laws on raising them. Some states have regulations that only allowed licensed individuals to raise wildlife.

Hi Angie, thanks for the suggestion.

I don't expect to raise them to adulthood, but I do want to make sure that they stay alive & healthy until Animal control (or whomever) can take over their care.

Thanks!

Call your local Dept of Fish and Wildlife. They will have a list of federally licensed rehabbers. In the meantime, don't handle them except as necessary to changed bedding. It is important that they are not used to human contact if they are to be successfully given back to the wild. Keep them warm, with gamebird starter and water.
Where are you located? Check Duck Rescue Network in my sig link. We have several licensed wildlife rehabbers in our network.

Good luck!
