I wouldn't raise ducklings and chicks together. Ducks are TOO messy!!

I'd say get your little one a friend (or two..or three lol). And most importantly.. NO MORE IMPULSE BUYING!

i wouldnt get a duck, they are too messy :\\ and i would get a few more chicks that you like and at the same time would work out with the chick you have now

oh yeah, i was reading a thing at Rule King about the chick feed being bad for ducklings. its kinda sad if u think about it

As long as you maintain a temp of 85-90 degrees for the chick it should be ok. Please post some pics.

Definitely don't feed medicated food to a duck. (we do feed our chicks and ducks the same food, but the feed is not medicated and the chicks were vaccinated.) I don't advise brooding ducklings with chicks either as others have said they are quite messy. They get the brooder and themselves wet very quickly. Good luck with your little one. You'll be getting more soon, they are addicting!
