Now what?! Wild birds stuck in netting

Honestly, I'd be more worried about the bear factor. They come for the feeder and stay for chicken.

Ohhh man! Just when I had relaxed a tiny bit, now this. Guess it’s back to scrutinizing my chickens poop, and heaven forbid one of my chickens sit down, I’ll convince myself it’s lethargic. Fun times over here!

I wouldn't use a tarp. It might be too heavy for the netting. They make a light tarp that lets rain softly fall through and breaks up heavy wind. We have used it on our deck. You could also just use an old flat sheet. You won't need it for long.

The reasons I’m not hyperventilating with bear worry is because A my property is completely fenced off, will it keep them out 100% of course not, but a deterrent. And I’ve got the loudest coon hound in the history of the world. So far this summer he’s treed 2 raccoons, 3-4 skunks, chased off deer and treed an angry squirrel that threw acorns at ppl. He’s NOT a guardian animal, hes just territorial I guess.

Um do you not know me at all?? I’m so not a pro. I’m a huge worrier and have no clue what I’m doing. If it wasn’t for y’all my chickens would probably still be living in my house wearing diapers.

Here’s the thing, it’s like picking an evil. Birds carry disease but the mockingbirds and crows chase off the hawks. I’m not sure what cardinals do, except look pretty.

Exactly... So we compromise with the lesser of 2 evils. If that don't work...you can always call do-overs.
