I got ahold of the Ohio department of Agriculture and they have classes at certain times of the year. So then you are certified for a few years. I think they said the class was like 4 hours long.

I contacted the Ag department for Fla and they gave me the email for the lady who does it here. She came to my house yesterday, swabbed the chickens' mouths and took blood from under the wing.
There was no cost and they gave me the paperwork the same day with some literature.
They tested for Avian Bird Flu and something else.
your lucky, that was easy. in WI there is a lot of paperwork, a lot of testing, a lot of red tape and a lot of expense, $80 dollars just to get started and that's with out testing.
